I'm a recently graduated traveling educator and video producer in search of a place to park my study/editing studio/bedroom, in Santa Rosa, CA.
A little about myself
Born in California, raised in Idaho. I'm a child of poor, hard-working immigrants.
First generation college student, I just graduated from Boise State University with a Masters. Philosophy, critical theory, and video production are my primary disciplines. I think understanding this world and the challenges it poses us are integral to any progress. I read a lot, and love to share what I learn through tutoring and educational/fun videos. When not working I hike, bike, and slackline.
A little about my living situation
Why did I build this funny looking wagon on wheels? Because I seek solitude and freedom from the necessity to work a regular job, so that I can instead pursue my calling as an educator online. I call my study/editing studio/bedroom my "Foothold" because it provides a foothold in the world to free up time and energy, which I invest towards this passion project online.
A little about my previous property patrons
Before enrolling in college, I knew I had to experiment with alternative living arrangements if I was to cut costs and focus on my studies without working full time. For the last six years I have lived with a variety of property patrons, all of whom are referrals.
Property patrons put me up because they enjoy having me around or believe in my mission. Sometimes they want some help around the premises in return. For example, when I was studying for my A.S. at North Idaho College I lived with a woman who had a serious disability, and in exchange for the space I made breakfast every morning and kept the kitchen clean.

I was an isolated, near-retired man with arcane intellectual interests I had never really been able to hone or follow in a systematic manner. Thanks to Dave I met a cluster people of all ages who shared my interest in philosophy and social justice.
Dave is a doer, not a naval gazer so called, although there’s nothing particularly wrong with that. But I’m not much of a doer and I need doers in my life, and because I met Dave I found a person who is able to bring people together.
